The leadership of Think Souls Enterprise through the communications department has issued a suspension letter in response to “President Akufo-Addo Address To The Nation On Measures Taken By Gov’t To Combat The Coronavirus Pandemic”.
The downloadable file included confirms the support Think Souls executives and the organizing body has to support Ghana in its efforts to overcome this global pandemic (COVID-19) by spreading a message of calmness and suspending the various activities to be done to see to the success of the Ghana National Service Personnel (GNASP) Awards & Cocktail night.
Eric Ofosu Sawyerr, the Founder and C.E.O of Think Souls Enterprise believes the escalating situation surrounding COVID-19 can be conquered if most large gatherings are suspended hence the support to governments decision to reduce & flush out the coronavirus infection in the country.
The outbreak is evolving. It used to be China and now it is Italy and other countries are following after it. WHO urges governments to do more as virus infects more than 198,241 people and has killed at least 7,965 worldwide
Statistics in Ghana so far as GNASP Awards is Concerned
Government of Ghana has so far traced 350 people who came into contact with the first six patients who tested positive for Coronavirus which made GNASP Awards suspended.
The contact-tracing process is still ongoing to identify more contacts who will be required to self-isolate and be monitored daily for symptoms of the virus. GNASP Awards suspended over Coronavirus will see to healthy and coronavirus free audience and national service participants to grace the event without any fears.
According to the Ministry of Health, it is following up on the contacts as part of efforts to stop the spread of the virus in the country.
